Default Caltracs and Hotchkis Leafs!!

For anyone with the Hotchkis leafsprings and thinking of buying Caltracs you need to ensure the bushing sizes are the same. I just piad a shop to install my Caltracs and when they went to press the bushings back in they won't fit right. The bushing size for the Caltracs was 2" and the Hotchkis was about 1.75 So now I have to have Caltracs send me the right size. In the mean time I have to have it all put back to stock and wait till next wekk. Just a heads up for ya'll.

Default Related Question.

Are the bushings in the Hotchkis leaf springs the same size as stock?

When I had my cal-tracs put on Don had to cut off about half of the bracket that attaches to the axle because of my DJM drop kit. Its not just a bolt on like said

When you order Caltracs you need to make sure to let them know of any lowering equipment you've installed.

I did that. I just didn't realize the bushing sizes would be different and they didn't mention that it COULD be different. I am not angry at anyone though. **** happens when you try to put aftermarket parts on aftermarket parts. LOL Calvert Racing was cool about it and sent me out the correct ones the same day.

What he saud ...

The Hotchkis springs do have a smaller bushing than stock, and Calvert is aware of that.
