The Hotchkis is definately what I plan to go with, but can I run them before I have the Hotchkis installed? That's my concern, cause if not than I'll just wait till I get the Hotchkis.

THe difference between the regular set and the Hotchkis is the bushing that's replaced in the front of the spring. The Hotchkis bushing is slightly smaller, therefore it won't fit in the stock spring eyelet.

If it were me, not because I have an interest in meeting the GP limit, I would get a set if you plan on getting them anyways, and order according to what you plan on going with in the future. In your case .. I would go ahead and get in on the GP to save a few bucks, and order the bars for the Hotchkis kit. That way you can put them on at the same time. The springs would have to come out again when you go to put the bars on, so it would kill 2 mods with one install.

How do the caltracs affect the ride quality? Also, if i'm not getting any wheel hop (just spin) are they worth getting?

I got in on this because when I installed the new et streets, I wasn't getting the wheel spin I was with the bfgs. Now it sort of feels like its getting some wheel hop alittle after I launch. I'm just wondering if these will help my little sway I have at about the 61ft mark. I have no idea what is causing that now.

They will help plant the rear. They do all around help out with traction probelms, be it wheel hop or wheel spin. There are some other variables too, like shocks and bar adjustment.
