Default Caltrac Hanger Questions

I bought a set of lowering hangers from Caltrac that are modified to work with the caltrac bars. However, the mounting pattern does not look right. I mocked it up and a few pictures are below. The bottom right bolts to the very last hole on the factory hanger bracket that is riveted to the bottom of the frame. I also think it will raise the truck at least an inch over the DJM hangers I had before.

Does that look right?

Do they fit better if you swap sides? Or possibly rotate the hanger so the top right bolt is in the upper hole in the frame? If the leaf spring is fully installed in the rear shackle in the pics rotation may not be possible as it would move the spring eye up but also rearward.

I tried swapping them to both sides. The only way they bolt up is the way I have them pictured. If I rotate them up (like you said and I think they should be), the bolt holes don't line up.

I think the current mounting location might even bring the shackle forward, but I dont know for sure because the rear end is not installed.

I sent the pictures to Caltrac. Hopefully they can clarify on how the hangers need to be mounted or send me a new set if that is the issue.

I talked to Travis at Calvert today and he is taking the hangers back. I think there is an issue with the template they used to make the hangers. I am going to send them my DJM hangers and let them modify them to work with the Caltracs.
