Default C notch information/tips tricks ?

Hi guys,
I am going to c notch my truck Monday. I have a djm c notch. I plan on snatching the bed off to make it easier. I also plan on adding some more bracing to the notch for towing purposes.
Can you guys share your tips and tricks. I have no instructions and also have to buy new hardware. I have a set of air helper bags also. They are going to most likely have to be relocated.
Things I am curious about:
Where to place jack stands. I am thinking in front of the leaf spring mount and maybe a jack under the rear end.
I know to drill small holes in the corners of the notched/cut frame to reduce cracking.

Any other tips and tricks are greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Jake

Support both ends (front and back) of the frame, only do one side (left, right) at a time, don't use anything that will generate a lot of heat (ie torch), and a step bit does wonders for drilling your holes. That's the only things I can think of off the top of my head, its been many years since I did mine.

When I did it, I left the bed on for my support of the frame. It wasn't too bad to get in there with the bed still on, but I understand why people take it off too.

I plan on welding the jdm notch as well as bolting it. Would it matter if I torched the part of the frame that is being removed?

Drill holes for your corners, and then cut into the drilled holes. Helps to prevent stress-cracking.

When you weld it in, use plug-welds in the field, and stitch welds on the edges. Should be stronger than being fully welded around the outside edges, and should also end up stronger than before you cut the frame.

Any one have pix of how they welded them up? I'm also looking to do this in the near future.
