Default bumpstops and stock

my truck is an 03 tahoe 4wd and the front end sits in the bump stops. is this normal it dosent look low or funny in any way do the torsion bars lose their tension after time maybe?

yes they do wear, but it shouldnt be resting on the bump stops. I would try to adjust them before I did any thing drastic, if your not the first owner they be fine and some body wanted a lower stance.

Actually they SHOULD be just kissing the stops (at least according to 2 alignment guys I know?). The bump stops are part of the suspension on the 4x4 torsion suspension trucks.

x2....mine was resting on the bumpstops from the factory when I picked her up with 8 miles on the clock.

does anyone know what the front ride height measurement is? then i can check that and go from there

If the ride isnt rough and there is no funny tire wear I wouldnt worry about it.

it dosent ride very tight, very loose where can i find poly front end bushings and upgraded steering componets?
