I was just suggesting the parts that I had put in mine when I had it built 2 weeks ago.

If you let the shop sell you the parts then your most likely paying a markup.
Its easier to get a list of parts that they recomend and buy them as you can. When you get all the parts then have it built. Not everyone has $2k-$3k to pay up front.
My build took 8 days and thats the only one he built.

No pump rings in the HD2 Kit, I bought my hd2 kit from summit and its not a part of the kit. I bought the hardened rings with the spring separate. The spring in the hardend rings kit is to be used if your going to be in the 5k+ rpms a bunch.

A lot of shops will not warranty if a part you purchased fails.

What should I do to the trans? (stock 4L60e unit)

I currently have a vette servo and trangsgo HD-2 kit but want to buy a few other things before I bring it to the trans shop.

What else is needed/recommended?

Thanks in advance
