Default Broke my built 80e ???

Ok guys I recently installed a 97+ 4l80e filly built .. Basically everything besides input and output shafts ,,,, yanksc3600 stall brand new. ,,, about 2 weeks into it I broke the flywheel .. Well put a Sfi plate ... Well few days ago I've noticed a humming sound coming from the trans ...it started getting louder and louder .. The converter wouldent lock ...then the trans started getting really hot so I pulled over let it cool down .. Start driving again . I got pissed off and floored it ... Went through 1-2 then wouldent shift in into 3rd .. Then lost everything. ... Even reverse ... Anyone have any idea wtf is going on ??? I hought these trannys were strong

I'll bet that flexplate breaking had something to do with it. Could have trashed the pump.

Getting pissed and flooring it when you may have a trans issue isn't exactly a fair way to judge how strong the trans is right? When you first had an issue you should have stopped and checked it out thoroughly. Get another and put it in, sounds like the death of this trans may not have exactly been its fault...

Speedometer jumps around also with light throttle in park.... kind of weird. Crawled underneath and there didn't seem to be any burnt or chaffed wires. Did notice someone moved the tranny cooler and pinched off one of the rubber lines though. Investigate further when I pull it inside.

tow truck driver seemed to be on crack
