The factory pads are such a hard ceramic that they can tend to squell some.

I've only experienced that on damp humid days when my truck sit's outside and only for the first few applications of the brakes? I contribute it to surface rust build up on the rotors. Mine stays in the garage 99% of the time so maybe it's more noticed with trucks parked outside?

that's what I'm thinkin about doing, but now the brakes don't squeal anymore lol. It happened off and on for several months (given conditions), but now it hasn't happened for about 3 weeks. Knock on wood...

I don't think I'll be doing an upgrade kit soon, the only upgrade (if any) would be to put a 12b or 14b out back
After some other mods of course.
