I am due for front brakes and got really giddy reading about the gmt900 front calipers & rotors only to find out that my 05 (with rear drum) already has the same thing standard......

Wondering if Escalade or any 6.2L rotors are larger?

I'm running 22" TBSS reps and my brakes look pathetic

any other insight would be welcomed

Baer 15" upgrade using the factory caliper with relocation brackets? I went that route and it makes a big difference just doing that and looks great behind 22" wheels!

I did some digging, they've never used anything larger than 13", even the new 2014s have 13" rotors except they have a new "Duralife" rotor that's supposed to last longer and not warp as bad or corrode

I even checked the 2013 Police Tahoes

I'm only wondering if the 2014 rotors are a direct swap & if the calipers are any different.

I saw a couple caliper upgrades online but honestly I wouldn't want to draw any attention to the puny 13" brakes behind these 22" wheels

My wife's car has larger brakes stock

 

I'll get the wife to snap me a few since I'm TDY and she drives the truck every day.
