Uses the hydraulic system off the power steering pump instead of a vacuum booster. Standard on the 2500s, 3500s, and suburbans.

I've heard that the Hawk HPS pads dust bad, and can be noisy, although the stopping perfromance is great, any truth to this? On the other side of the coin, the EBC Greenstuff pads are supposed to be good with dust and noise (at the compromise of some stopping power I'm sure)...anybody want to confirm this info?

Hawk HPS and their LT pads dust like crazy, no noise though.
