Default bolt ons or trans

this summer i'm planning on doing some mods to my truck, i have two options. 1. get Vinci Ultra torque cam (210/218 .551/.551 116LSA) and a maddog built 4l60e with converter. or 2. same cam plus long tubes, CAI, electric exhaust cut outs, wait4me tune, and maybe some 1.7 or 1.8 rockers. i will need to do the trans either this summer or next summer because i will be doing a turbo in the future, but if i can get away doing the bolt ons this summer and waiting till next to do the transmission i will be happier because i will actually be able to tell a difference. with that amount of bolt ons my trans should be alright till the next summer wont it? sorry for all the questions. any input will be nice

I would do option 1) with a tune. You will need to beef up tranny no matter which direction you. The reason why I did not recommend option 2), what if your tranny takes a crap on you in December, will you be up creek with out paddle.

where did your 4L65e come from (in your sig)? why is it not built? 4L60e is stock in all 5.3L and smaller motor applications
