Default body lifts for 04's? 300+ bucks?

is this right or am i misreadign something? I checked with some non sponsors in the 4x4 offroad mag and they all seem to want 300bucks for the 04 3inch body lift. I didnt even ask if that came with the bumper brackets and etc..

but damn... the ones for my 94-98 trucks were only like 80-150bucks?

what changed and why are they so much unless I looked at the wrong kit? Its the performance accessories one

Yes, ive been looking into them also for my 2005... $360 is crazy. I paid about $160 for both my 98 and my 02 z71's ... If anyone know's y they are so much now please let us know. Or if you know where we can get one reasonable.

i know the new kits have the bumper kits with them now, which makes it a lil more...

the guy that put mine on said the 04's were definitly harder to install than the 02 and below ones he had done...

i just put 285's and 16x8 ultra rims on there.. wish i had either gotten 305 tires with those rims or 16x10 rims with the 285's.. either way, i wanted something about 2inches wider.. the 285's on 8's do look fine though, but they dont stock out even with the sides of the truck like I wanted

Hummm, so I'd probably need to go with a 17X9 or 17X10 rims them. Thanks for the info.

I would go with a 10" rim period it is alot easier to find tires that fit correctly when going to a bigger tire.
