Default Binding question after lowering c10

Yes I did say a c10. I'm finishing a frame/drive train from 2011 GMC Savana awd van (I drove prior to cutting it up and ran great) that I placed a 1969 c10 on top. Front is lowered with djm lower arms and mcgaughys drop spindles, new hubs and tie rod ends. Drove it out of the garage and upon turning it felt as if I was in my old 4x4 in 4 low. Feels like the cab is going to pop right off the frame, lots of "binding" feelings. Some research shows the lowered Silverados with some serious cv joint angles and are somewhat solving this with longer front axles. Thoughts? Strange coincidence that the cv joints are shot since I went so low and are now showing these signs? Interestingly the vans axles are shorter by over an inch against the Silverado, which look like a direct bolt in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it helps the drivetrain is a 5.3 4l70 and a bw 4473 transfer case.

Would the differential carrier bushings being shot cause this binding/clunking/lurching feeling? Just talking out loud at this point I guess.

I'd be looking more toward the transfer case. I've seen way worse CV angles. What kinda shape is the front diff in?

Thanks for your response. The only reason I was so set on the cv joints is I drove the van prior to cutting the body off and everything seemed smooth, but now that I've dropped it I'm getting this "4 low" while turning feeling, it so bad the entire truck kind of "jumps" so I've parked it for now. The front diff I have not looked at the fluid but externally looks fine, the transfer case I did check the fluid due to pulling and shortening the driveline. The fluid, which I have read calls for VI atf, mine was very dark, didn't smell burnt, but definitely not red atf. With this t case sounds like it uses a viscous coupler for power transfer, could this old nasty fluid be causing this? On a side note it did have Stabilitrack which seemed to be a glorified abs, that went in the garbage, I can't imagine that has anything to do with this. Thank you again for your help, Ben.

That could be your problem. Without it seeing the Stabilitrack controller it could be throwing a code and defaulting it to full lockup like a normal transfer case and not letting the viscus coupler do its job.

Ug! I have had the BCM as a code a few times, the only other code is for a low maf. If the BCM is still on my harness (sent mine away to delete emissions etc, but still has a wire for the BCM) you think this is putting the transfer case into a funky mode? The only hook up to the t-case is for the VSS. Any one know if Stabilitrack can be deleted from the computer? Thank you for all your help, Ben
