Default Better Shocks than Belltech SP?

I currently have Belltech Street Performance drop shocks all around with my 2/4 drop. The front feels good, soft and controlled. But the rear sucks ***. At highway speed the whole truck will shudder/oscillate after the rear goes over the bump. The shudder lasts for up to a second and shakes the whole truck. Feels fine otherwise.

Anyone had similar issues and know of a good shock to fix it? Thanks.

same here...I just installed a c-notch and helpers this weekend and went down 1". I definitely need new shocks, although my front isn't nice like you described. Did you trim your bumpstops? Or remove them? I'm thinking that has some to do with it.

I am considering QA1's but the price is killing me

I did trim the front bumpstops as per my other thread about them. Softer in the front now, but a little wishy washy at speed. Not a big deal to me, it's a truck not a Porsche.

The rear is annoying though. I don't think it's a bumpstop issue, mine rides 1-1.5" from the rear bumpstops, but I was planning on cutting them down another 1/2" or so. I have read that Rancho shocks are okay. Perhaps adjustable ones are the way to go.

Bump. These shocks in the rear are really irritating.

Maybe it's the geometry, but there's gotta be some 4" rear drop guys who have a decent ride quality.

Changes the angle of the shock and will also allow for more travel on the shocks.

Hearing a lot of guys running QA1 adjustable shocks. I'll probably be changing to these in the future.
