Oh and FWIW Black X has an s10.
I def have to agree on the point yanks are fuggin tight... I have a 3200 in my DD and wish I went bigger... I have a big tranny cooler, never get 0ver 150 deg. Traction would be an issue, but is a issue in them with a stock 4.3, he has a 6.0 so it is a prob already, suspension work is a must at this point anyway..

Exactly, having never owned a PI I couldn't compare them, but my girlfriend is able to hop in my truck and drive it in stop and go traffic without issue.

I think that an SS3200 would compliment that cam in your 6.0 nicely and still have good street manners, just my .02

to explain a few more plans in detail and answer a few questions. the truck should weigh in at around 3300-3500lbs, it will have basic creature comforts but no huge systems or anything, just heat, AC and a simple radio. its truly going to be my daily, it will sometime next year see spray. but that will come after a new rear, full suspension, which is going to be coil overs all around with a linked rear setup. but the project is getting done a little at a time as play money comes in. after all of the driveline, and suspension is beefed up then I might get crazy and build a forged 370 that will take a stupid amount of spray, but thats not till after my next deployment.

dude get a SS3600. you have to remember that because your truck is so much lighter than most the trucks on this sight a SS3600 will act like a smaller converter in your truck than it would in a Fullsize.

Doesn't the way the converter acts has more to do with the engine size, than with the size of the truck?

both play in the equation. A heavy truck will cause a higher stall speed from a converter for a Fbody
