If I didn't care about price I would have bought the Nitto 404's, as I've heard nothing but rave reviews on them. Most people who can get whatever tire they want seem to get the 404's (celebrities, Discount Tire store managers, etc.). Instead, I got the Kumho Ecsta STX's for about $100 less per tire ($140 each vs. $240 for the Nittos). I think the Kumhos are very close to the Nittos, so I don't think the Nitto's are $100/tire better.
