Default Best 22" Tire For Traction

Here's the delima....Is there a 22" tire that will give me some great traction? I've put quite a few $$ in my performance(Radix w/3", FLP Tranny, FMS Tune, Posi, 3.90's, and soon to be LQ4 6.0) and I want to be able to get some traction off the line. I've been debating dropping down to a 20" and throwin some nitto R's on there, but really like my stance with the 3/4 and 22's.

Penny for your thoughts,
chris

Nitto doesnt make a 555R in a 20 i dont think, i think 18 is the largest wheel they go to. With my 22s I am running the Pirelli Scorpians on mine with a 2/5 drop and they fit perfect. They are fairly wide and hook up better than my Nitto 285/35/22 did. So that would be my recomendation if you want to keep your 22s

I have to agree here as well. I have a Radix and just bought the same Pirelli's 305/35/22 and they hook so much better than my Nitto's ZR555's did. I can actually floor it in firt now without spinning them to 50mph.
