Default Belltech Strut issue

About 1-day after installing the belltech struts on my truck to finish my 2/3 drop I started getting a horrible squeak. Trying to look into it closer it appears the squeak is coming from the lower sping seat where it sits over the spacers.

My question here is if anyone else has experienced a similar issue? If so, how did you fix it?

I only have the problem on the drivers side and a call in to belltechs tech dept. did little help outside of wasting 5 minutes on the phone.

Any input is appreciated as I am close to going to the spindles and removing the struts.

i have struts in the front and dont have any issues or squeeks..are you sure its from the front?? mine squeeks but in the rear, where the shackles connect on the leaf spring.. i have to put wd-40 every month or so when the rubber bushing dries out in the bolt sleave.

Yes, I am certain it is coming from the front left corner of the truck.

Did anyone else use (or not use) the stock plastic spring isolator from the stock strut and put it onto the lower spring seat of the belltech strut? Going to pull the struts again sometime soon and see if I can find the problem one way or another.

I have struts on my 07 suburban, did not use the plastic isolator. No squeaks here. I had trouble seating one of the lower spring "plates" or seats. I had to tap it all the way down with a small hammer. Maybe that seat isnt all the way down on top of the rings. You could try disassembling the coil and make sure its all the way down. Might help to spray some lube on everything while its apart. Also, it could be the strut mount where it bolts to the lower arm, unless you ruled that out.

Haven't ruled that out yet. Going to try and get it apart again over the next week if I have time. Will make sure everything seated properly and double check the lower mount.

Thanks for the info so far
