No, 160 is not bad at all. Mine run as high as 170 in very hot summer traffic and I have a large cooler.

Its all good... until it gets to 200.... thats still not bad... 220* and you better be tryin to cool it off...

Mine runs bout 140-150 cruising even on a 100* day..
But if i hammer on it around town it will creep up to 190ish and it will slowly cool down to 170ish..

once it heats up that much it hardly ever gets back down to 150..

same here, in the mornings I can drive 15miles to work and never get over 120, on the way home when its warmer, it'll see 150, beating on it, hotlapping it at the track it will get to 190 pretty quickly but the cooler/line setup I have on mine keeps it nice and chilly... its only a 30K cooler but its mated to -6AN hoses and mil-spec fittings all around. I took my radiator out of the cooling circut as well... once it gets above 170 it wont take long to cool mine off to 150, this is with my 3600 converter...

Yeah your fine. I saw mine hit 230 this summer towing my 6000lb. enclosed trailer up a long hill. It cooled down to 180 after I got over the hill. Thats with a 3000 stall.

I think that it's about time that you get someone who knows how to build a transmission build you one...

As easy as putting in an Escalade gauge cluster.
