For reference, using The Breeze's wheel setup, looks exactly like where I want it to come out to.

just remember that's a 16" wheel.

Eh, that's right.....well should be the same on the 15s.......check out Txsqueeze4.8 bogarts 15x10 with 6.5" backspacing I might would even try to do a 6.75" and it should be pretty spot on.

Honestly....I'm just thinking about going with a set of 6 lug to 5 lug(5x4.5) adaptor plates(1.75" thickness) and going with a set of weld draglites with a 7.5 backspacing for track use only. I don't think it would be a problem running them about 5 times a month. Anybody see any problem with that type setup?

see the bolt that atatches to the calliper, there is a 1" gap between the bolt and the rim. so really, you could only widen this stock 16x7 rim roughly 3/4". i can only imagin how much work it would take for a 15" rim with more backspacing to clearance.
Pictures say a thousand words, thanks. I understand now. That's the brake line bolt, makes more sense than the caliper bolt (which is something else). Best thing would be to find some other caliper that could be used.

I'm running a 15x10 with a 4.5" backspacing on my truck. I shaved the calipers, but there is plenty of room for more backspacing.........Does that help any, because I'm fresh out of helpful posts? ALso, it sticks out an unbelievable amount. Fossil is running a set of 15s with about 6-6.25 backspacing on his truck as well.

does fossil have any pics on here?
after looking into this more, my stock 16x7 rim has +31 off set and 5.2" BS.
so with having 1" between the rim and the bolt to play with, i think i could do a 15x10 with 6" BS.
