First off ive got a 90 gmc sierra with a 700r4 transmission. In about three months i plan on swapping out the tbi for a carb. My question is, can i go ahead and install the b&m manual converter lockup with the computer still hookedup and the tbi inplace? I was just wondering, b/c if i could go ahead and do this, it would save a little bit of downtime when i swap the tbi out.

 

1990 you can do a $2.50 togle switch and have a manual TC lock up,I would do a vacuum switch for lock up,its cheap too.

 

Does anyone elese have anything to say on this?
