Default B&M Flexplate

Looking for a 4L60E flexplate for my 80E swap (Cricle D converter with 60E bolt pattern). The B&M unit looks pretty nice and affordable, but heard these have issues with hitting the starter. Have they corrected this issue? Anyone use one recently?

What other affordable options are out there? I know Yank and Circle D sell some. The TCI unit is on the pricey side.

Thanks

Why cheap out on the flexplate? $270 isn't a bad price to pay when you have to pull the trans and buy a new flexplate when the cheaper flexplate breaks. I think a lot of the cheaper ones out there are made in China.

I busted several before going with the TCI Plate, no problems since.

Thanks for sharing. I just bought a TCI flexplate from a member. Better safe than sorry.
