None, thats whey they are a PITA to get. You have to machine a stock one so that it fits the 80e output shaft. You can get a 80E output shaft machined down to fit the coupler but then that is the weakest link.

Yes. It's a fairly simple swap. For the transmission mount. I got a 1/4" 4x4" angle steel from a scrap yard and had a trend weld it to the xmember. Then drill the holes for the mount to go through. For the vss that you have to wire in I used 16ga speaker wire. I used a stock 2500hd drive shaft and had my rear shaft shortened 1.6" and high speed balanced. The shop here in town did it in about 6 hours.

Thanks Kurt that's going to be a huge help. I'm making sure I have literally everything A-Z. I already have both driveshafts and the crossmember etc. the only 2 parts I need are this input gear and a converter.

Thanks Andy. I may take you up on that.

do you have the correct vss sensor? I thought I did but ended up being the wrong one. Make sure you have enough trans fluid. and get the blue autotrac fluid for the transfer case.

I think I do. I'm getting it as a complete package. I will be starting a thread soon to cover it all and to make sure I have everything I need. At this point there are a lot of guys that have done this before and I'll need as much input as I can get. I know its not that big of a deal... but it still has me nervous.

I'm also nervous that its gonna make my truck feel like a turd off the line.

With the converter it's not bad at all. I was getting 1.80 60' at the track.

but you have boost and 4.56 gears... those sound like game changers to me. Granted you are also running taller tires, but still. I would think even with a stall thats slightly too tight for your cam the boost will more than make up for that. If I could click off a 1.80 I'd be ecstatic. Thats where I need to be to run times I'll be happy with I think.

I will definitely need help when it comes to the electric hook up to make this work properly. I've never been one for electronics of wiring...
