they both have a 3" drop. i think i'll do torsion bar drop vise the spindle drop if i can take them 2-3 inches down because i have a set of 16 i'd like to run during the winter and if i have to go some where muddy

If you had autoride, you would know it. It sounds like your Tahoe is ripping a giant fart for about 10 seconds after you start the truck.

I used 3" lowering Eibach springs in the back. They came with the adapters to compensate for the height in the autoride sensors. Then I turned the torsion keys about 6 turns and that was it. 24's on rubberbands.

The front drivers tires rubs the fender well just enough to show marks on the plastic but nowhere else. On a normal smooth road it rides normal. You will feel every bump and sure dont want to hit a pothole. I wish I could have got a little more rubber but 305/35 is all I could fit. If you go 20's or 22's the ride will be better. I had 22's before and it was smoother.

I like the 3" rear springs and just lowering the TB's. Maybe once I get another truck for me I will lower mine too, so my short *** wife doesnt have to jump to get in. lol

I think its djm that says their lowering kit can come with shock re-locators, for the people with autoride. Thats what im going to do soon, i cant afford the new shocks now ,and according to DJM itl still ride good... Plus the few of us lucky enough to have auto-ride all know, its nice to have.. right now i have my front T-bars cranked down about 5 turns and it just slightley rubs my 305/60/18 when i turn sharp in reverse

305/60R18.??? Got any pics of your ride with them on? I've been curious if there was a good looking rim tire combo more performance oriented that still looked nice. 20's just slow you down so much.
