Circle Track Racing (CTR) version of the Detroit Locker is made exclusively for left hand turn racing. By fine tuning the proven race technology of the Detroit Locker the Detroit Locker CTR is able to increase performance in Circle Track applications. It is engineered to allow the right wheel to differentiate while keeping 100% traction on the left wheel.

The innovative new design allows for deeper turn entries and higher exit speeds. The ability to stay on the gas longer into the turn and return to the pedal faster leaving the turn.

If made by Detroit Locker it should be a good product, should work for someone here who likes taking their ride on a circle track.

They use Detroits, but they used to buy modified ones from a company called Tex Racing. They would change the springs in them to allow them to apply faster. Then Detroit started making a Nascar locker, which was modified from the factory. Basically the same as what these are except they only made it for 9" ford 31 spline. That has been being made fr several years now. A lot of the local dirt track series out there are using 7.5/7.6 rears, so it makes sense for them to make these. I know for a while there they were using really strong springs on one side and weaker ones on the other, with this one only one side disengages to keep the left tire powered becuase it travels less distance and takes some abuse off of the right side tire, which always wears faster.
