Anyone know if a 285/75-16 will fit in the spare tire area?

Default Anyone know if a 285/75-16 will fit in the spare tire area?

Time for new tires for me, I have one decent tire on my truck and the other three are about done, thinking of moving the decent one to the spare tire location since the spare I have now is factory 265/75-16. Will the larger tire fit there?

Cool thanks!

Nope, still got the kegs. I'm gonna get rid of them soon though.....I want the space back in the garage. Just been too lazy to do anything with them

Wish you were closer, I'd buy a junk 285/75R16 off you for a spare. Currently have a 245/75R16. Had to use it once when I had 265s and the rear end behaved itself for the most part but did lock once. I shudder to think what would happen with my current tires and that spare.

If I put the 285 on for a spare I'll be getting rid of a decent shape 265/75-16. I can't imagine it would be too much to ship one tire from Phoenix to OC.....

What size tires you got on there now?

Sorry haven't been on here in a bit.....my tires are 285/70R17....so I'd be looking for a 285/75R16 for my 16" spare. Definitely want to go full size though. I probably should just keep looking around here though, I think it'd be a pain in the *** for you to wrap one of those up and ship it.
