Default Anyone ever experienced this?

I was on my way home from taking a cruise in the nice weather and my truck wanted to act up. I came through a 30 mph speed zone and afterwards at 40 mph I let off and then pressed the gas again. I wasn't gunning it, just driving normal. When I pressed the gas again at 40 mph it seemed it didn't want to speed up, it only reved up and very slightly gained speed. My first thought was that the tranny went out, but on the third try of giving it gas it went as normal as it's supposed to.

Anyone ever had this happen? Is the transmission just about toast after 15,000 miles of basically babying it? It felt like the transmission was inbetween shifts and couldn't make it's mind up. I had 100% TM removed about 100 miles ago so maybe that is already destroying my stock 4L60E? I sure hope this was just a shifting error and it isn't anything major. Thanks in advance, any help at all will be greatly appreciated.

I haven't experienced that (mine has almost 19K miles). Only thing I've noticed is that when it's cold it doesn't seem to shift quite as well as when warmed-up. Mine is all stock except for the K&N intake.

I experienced something like that in my stock 60e too, but it was around 60-70 mph. A mechanical malfunction is not what cauzed mine to go tho....me and my cousin bing morons did.

Sounds like time to refresh the transmission.
