Just like it says has anyone? Im on my 4th 60E and Im pissed. The builder said he has never seen anything like this before. My output shaft completely grenaded when it shifted from 1st to 2nd.

yes sir i have snapped two of them. one i snapped naturally aspirated and was still able to use the case. on the second one i shattered the case on a 150 shot

 

snapped atleast 9 of them..
nothing new on this..
lots of people are having problems with them..
get you a hardened output shaft, and have it bead blasted, and then have them put it under the magic light to look for cracks from the supplier..

I remember seeing sombody offering a stronger output shaft, but it was like 500 buck just for the shaft.

I believe FLP is cryo treating their output shafts. You might want to have yours done up like 01Thunder said then have that place in Sac. cry treat it.

 

The vettes and F-bods snap them often as well as you know see our truck with medium power do as well!

 

Yeah I have shreaded a few of those things!! Not on this truck.............YET>

 

Luckily the clutch packs in my truck went out first. But when I got mine rebuilt I got the hardened cry-treated one put in. So far no problems with downshifts at 40mph in my heavy *** truck with a 100 shot buuut once the new notor is in Im sure its going to be toast.

 

I dont know what Im pushing for rwhp. I hope around 400rwhp on 8 pounds.

I actually got an hardened output shaft from a Z06 according to Manny. I didnt even know that Z06's came in Auto's.
