Default Anybody here running a 2/3 drop?

I was thinking of going with a mild 2/3 drop on my 04 extended cab and was looking for input from anybody out there running the same setup. I think I'm going to go with the dropped coils up front and hanger / shakle setup in the rear. I will install dropped shocks when I lower it as well. I will eventually add a set of 20" wheels. My concern is whether or not I will have any suspension travel issues (bottoming out). I would prefer to avoid c-notching the frame if possible. If anybody has some pictures of this setup, I would be interested in those as well.

I am running about 5" of drop in the rear and seldom bottom out. you have to get good shocks. I run Doetsch Tech shocks in the rear and soon to be the front as well... I love 'em.

I must recommend going doen at least 4" in the rear. the 2/3 will not sit level. (if thats what you are going for) and in most cases the 2/4 really doesnt either but, its a lot closer.

im running a 3" 4" belltech on mine with the coils up fron and shackels and hangers out back with nitro drop shocks. with the 20s on it I rarely ever bottom out (it will hit the bumb stops every once in while on a busted *** road). But i don't like the coils up front. they are too stiff and it makes the ride rough as hell; if you run spindels it will be smoother. hope this helps ive got pictcures of it at http://www.cardomain.com/ride/679061

2/3 wouldnt be noticeable enough IMO. 3/4 is a very mild drop IMO. sometimes my truck dosent even look lowered to me anymore until i park it next to a factory silverado.

go with a 3/4 it looks good, but a 4/5 looks better imo. and i tink they have a 5/7 which is sweet if you get good shocks.

Well I'm going with a 2/3 kit for my VHO. It is noticeable.
TXsilverado.........I can tell right a way that your truck is dropped.
No need to put it next to another one.
You guys with drops have just got use to it already, that's all.

I wouldn't want your truck any lower. I don't think it would look as good lower than how it is currently.
Leave the hidth where it is and keep adding those go fast mods! I think I would love to see how your truck runs with a 100-125 shot. You need to come out to the track next time, with some NOS and blow off ap2002's doors!
I would love to see that happen!

i would love to see it too, but its not likely. he is running the same times as me N/A with more weight im still camless, with smaller gears and stall. after i get a few bills taken care of this summer im considering restalling and a cam/nitrous setup.
