Default any thoughts on this 16x8.5 wheel for a drag setup?

I have been looking for a set of wheels to run some slicks. I came across these, i believe the backspace is 5.5 or 5.25.... They are 16X8.5 6-139.7 25MMS, so for $109 i think they are pretty cheap and I think they would tuck...

I think those would make a nice drag wheel.

The back spacing would be 5.25 as it works out like this 8.5" + 1" / 2 = 4.75" + 25mm(1") = 5.25"

According to the sites that ship them to you direct they weigh 33 lbs a piece.

Yeah, I was thinking that 33lbssounded high also, but that's what they show when you go to put them in your cart and figure shipping, maybe if he is seriously considering these it would be worth a phone call as they could be trying to make a little $ on the shipping as well.

I emailed the MB wheels website about the wheels to see how much they weigh and what they are made of...

I found some 17 centerlines that are 20 lbs each, but they are around 199 each as well...

They look good though if they are pretty light. My stock steel 17's are 31lbs each
