naa its not hitting the limiter iits just flaring between 2-3 the rest are alll good.this is a good solid tranny.i dont THINK ill blow it in 1 day.plus the truck is running like a pig not making alot of power rght now .ill deal with that after the tranny issue.any more suggestions guys?so far ive heard ,take the synthetic fluid out ,install a vaccum mod ,and raise the pressure on the epc.what do yas think here?

i had mine built about the same way, mine just shifted vary hard, it went about 600 miles and it burned up the linings in every gear. took it to a differnt shop and they told me i had to have a vacum mod in it. so thay rebuilt it and it shifts alot better now. i guess the computer can back the line presser way down.

School me. What is flaring?
What does the vac mod do that corrects this issue?

then the tranny just uses vac instead of the pcm to control the shift firmness. its just like the old school tranny then. if you have a shift kit the line presser is way higher then normal and the computer will try to back it down.

So the vac would override pcm in terms of that, & load that it sees would be how it's controlled, right? I'm done w/ having these 4L60E's shift hard. Just a lil firmer would be fine. No more... this way.
