another 4l60e possibly broken need opinions.
So blackbear performance tuned 57000 mile stock origional fluid 4l60e behind a 5.3 driving 35's on stock 3.73's and g80.
I went to go in reverse yesterday like normal from park and after it rolled i gave it a little throttle since it was an incline and all the sudden BANG! I about **** a brick and let off the throttle immediately, put it in mark, looked underneath but didnt see any leaks or problems. Reversed again but no bang this time.
So I get home after my second job, no problems when i left work backing up, but when i put any throttle to it backing up at home same thing.
Now today at work I went to back up and the bang was there again but it sounded like a fan as well and no drive power.
I am really worried because there is no way I can afford a 2-3 grand bill for a rebuilt one and this is my only means of transportation. Its hard to diagnose something on the internet, but any ideas are helpful. My dad is coming up to take a look at it (30 years GM master tech) so I figure he would be able to find out.
Anyone know where I can get a mildly built 60e by monday? lol.

ive driven it the past two days about 30 miles total to/from work no problems shifted fine in any forward gears, just happened 3 out of 6 times in reverse in that timeframe. the last bang moving in the garage i have not tried moving it since. if anything i would rather have it be the g80 i have a truetrac and 4.88's sitting in my basement at home from ron for the almost 3 years, just hasnt worked out to install them either no money, not home, or couldnt get a vehicle to use since this is my DD.
