Your driveshaft will be spinning much faster than one on a diesel.

I'm sorry... I'm not getting it... Do the Diesels have like super high gears or something so the drivetrains turn slower?

Okay, I see now that the transmission is geared higher in OD. There is however many crew cab gassers also... Just had one at my shop today.

Don't blame you.....

Actually it depends on the differential gear ratio. Same ratio, tire size and road speed = same driveshaft speed. Doesn't matter what engine/trans.

I had the Ram Cummins 3.42 axle ratio stuck in my head, with all OE axles being 3.42 only now. And that diesels can get by with a taller ratio. But both a gasser and a diesel could be equipped with the same gears and would therefore see the same axle speeds.

I wouldn't put a factory one piece aluminium drive shaft in my truck. If you're dead set on a one piece I'd contact these guys Chevy Truck drive shaft* GMC truck drive shaft.

They built the 2 piece in my truck. They didn't even recommend a one piece in my ecsb 2wd 4l80e turbo truck.

Yep, thanks! I talked to them yesterday... They said they could build one for me. They asked what max speed would be and I told them about 110. After doing the math, the max speed turned out to be 110. I would only drag race it once a summer (local event at an airport). I don't think I would run much any more than 110 in a quarter mile.
I know 110 probably seems slow but I use this for towing my bass boat so I don't want to go to crazy on it. And it is a ccsb 2500 so it weighs about 6500 pounds... It's kind of a lead sled.
This is my set up......
2004 Silverado 4x4 2500 ccsb
Tvs1900 8-10 psi
Ls9 cam with supporting parts
90mm throttle body
Araid intake
ARH 1 7/8 primary headers
4.56 gears
Lowered 4”
Smith Racecraft Assassin Bars
Rare parts tie rods
Dirty hooker diesel pitman arm brace
285/60 18 tires
Black bear tune
