ally tranny

Changed filter and pan , due to hitting a boulder, now no reverse , R light flashes and seems to be in limp mode , stuck in 5th gear. 2005 Chevy Silverado 8.1 liter gas allison 1000 trans

Is fluid level full?
Is the prndl switch on the side of the trans damaged?
If you can get the codes read on it im sure i can get ya fixed up.
