Air Bags....Can they Help Traction?
#1
I see that so many guys are having traction issues with their trucks.
I was wondering if adding the air bag helpers bags could increase traction?
I've seen it used on Mustangs. They place it on the right rear inside the spring.
I was curious if you installed the air bags and just pumped up the one on the right rear, would it help keep the right rear leaf spring from flexing and losing traction?
Just an idea I've seen used on Mustangs. I know we have trucks, but the basic concept is still there.

it has been done and works to an extent, #1 problem is one installe dyou ahve to keep atleast like 40 psi of air in them which will raise you up a lil bit lil stiffer
best option still is to get some caltracs

I have the Caltracs, but I was looking for more added security of traction aid.

depending on where you ride height in comparison to the bags when they are at odd psi i've seen the guys with s-10s and that setup tear bags up and anything less than 30 at all times
ya really cant hurt them unless they reach one or both of thier max/min heights or they rub from low pressure
10 psi shouldent make any diff in lift height
