So what all factory setups come with 1350 Ujoints? Mine had them stock, I never realized it till I took the measurements on it when I ordered my new driveshaft. I was kinda shocked. On a side note Ill have my new driveshaft Friday.

Got my new driveshaft, just put it in. 5" looks huge once its installed but no clearance issues so i am happy so far. Ill post some pics in a bit

New is on the left.

The pics dont do it any justice, its very large compared to the stocker.

I thought once it's balanced, u just forget about it. Or only if u change gears, & it therefore changes critical?

That's what she said.

And the weight difference? You didn't forget, did u Pat?
Ummm, ****... Ill weigh the stocker, then Ill weight the packaging and subtract the weight of the packaging from the shipping weight ( 35lb) It has to be at least twice the weight.

Denny's wouldn't make you a shaft that long? or just not in aluminum?

They said i had two options, two piece that they could do or single alum that they couldnt do ( said they dont do alum that long). So i called driveshaft specialist ( same place Atomic got his)

Mine is that long too. I guess I will need to give them a call. What is the hp rating on your shaft?

they said 800 on mine, 4" al with 1350s

Thats a beefy looking piece there Pat. One less thing to worry about.

Im def. going to invest in one.

Are you still going to have room for drive shaft loops? I think you should just curious.
