Yeah, no experience with that Sonex and how it compares with the vette servo, but if you bring the 1-2 accum back to stock (remove the washers and flip the piston over and use the original spring) it will make it much more bearable. I say this based on experience.

I talked to a guy that had one forsale on ebay,I bid it and missed it. Later wrote him as to why he sold it.He said his tranny builder w/33 years didnt like it and went back with using vette servos.I gathered it was over kill much like billet servos being to brutal.

mine does the same thing. we've pulled the one washer out and it still barks the tires at med wot...

should i just return the 1-2 setup back to stock and use a pinless acc. ?

Same symptoms as mine. I put the 1-2 accum back to stock and it was much better.

So what is the good/bad about boosting line pressure with a bigger reverse boost valve?
