Hi All,

Truck specs in my signature, NNBS 5.3L 4x4, 7275 BB Turbo, 4L80E with 3200RPM Converter. Lately the trucks just been feeling REALLY slow, I mean it's fast when I hit the gas and it gets going and all but there's a serious delay/lag when driving around town which is what I do most of now. Freeway driving is great, at speed it picks up and goes real nice.

I asked Yank about lowering the stall on the converter but since it's their 4L80E with the 60E Flexplate bolt pattern they can only lower the stall speed to 2800.

If it weren't for this I would be less inclined to want to get rid of it, I know it's a truck not a small hatchback so it will always be different but maybe someone's had some luck in this area.

Anyone else have this problem in the past and fixed it?
