Thought I post a little update.
1. Had to change to the longer end links cause the shorter ones were causing to the bar to rotate upwards.
2. When I bought this kit, I also ordered the upgrade Polygraphite bushings. They also included the original poly bushings so I had a bunch of extra parts. Turns out that the poly bushings fit almost perfectly into the front sway bar.
I had to enlarge the hole on the top bushing a little to slide over the shaft. No big deal. The bushing that surrounds the center of the bar isn't exactly large enough so theres a slight gap but it doesn't seem to cause any problems yet.
Handles pretty dam good now.

I just found this because it got bumped up.
As for the different length end links.... It has part to do with fitment and part to do with 'tuning' the sway bar. Shorter end-links change the torque arm lever effect on the sway bar thus making it function as thicker bar. Its not a huge difference, not when compared to changing the thickness.

Well better late than never.
The thing I noticed with the shorter links is that it caused the bar to rotate upwards on axle. As the axle moved away from the body it pulled too much on the shorter link. It seemed the u-bolt style clamps wouldn't hold it tight enough to keep it from rotating. I figured if its rotating then its really not doing its job as it should be.
