Absolute stickiest street tire?

the stickiest is going to be the mt drag radial if you can find a size you like. they make a 305/45/18 that is something like 28.7" tall. people rave about these tires.
if you want taller than that you will have to go with a normal tire. i tried toyo proxies and perrilies(can't remember the exact tire) and neither one was all that great.

oh, the best 60' i ever got with the perilies and toyos was a 1.65 but 1.70's were more common. i get about the same 60' time with the stock firestones.
the nitto dr's knocked a full .1 off of my 60'. best of 1.55 with 1.6's common.
nearly everyone agrees the mt dr's are way better than the nittos so i am hopeing for some high 1.4's once the nittos are gone. i am not going to try them till i can afford to spend some cash on the rear end.

MT drag radials are by far the best. I didn't post up because he said he was looking for a 30"tall -18. They don't last long at all due to having the same compound a slick basically. But they hook!
I have heard multiple stories of guys running slicks or et streets and get a set of MT drag radials and the first pass break axles, rearends and tranny's.

they anounced the new sizes 6months or so ago. i saw an add in hotrod magazine. i called up mt and they told me they would be out in a couple of months so they should be out by now. they said to call summit or any of their many vendors to order a set.
not sure why the web site is dated. you would think they could fix that
