If it's still pulsating with the ABS fuse pulled, then you have an actual pulsation and not ABS activation. Since the rotors have been replaced, you probably have either a bad bearing or bent hub/rear axle.

Do you feel the pulsation in the steering wheel or in the seat, or just the pedal. If you feel it in the steering wheel the problem is in the front, if you feel it in your seat the problem is in the rear, if you only feel it in the pedal it could be either.

Do you know somebody with a dial indicator so you can check the runout of the rotors and hubs?

Well the pulsation is almost non existent with the fuse pulled. I feel it a little. I only feel it in the pedal. Definitely not the steering wheel.

Tomorrow I will be replacing both front hubs and sensors.

I have a dial indicator, I'll check the run out.

Thanks!

Thanks billy for your suggestions!

Problem is resolved. I replaced the front hubs as they were in bad shape. The sensors were badly rusted over also.

I also replaced the rear pads + rotors.

Feels like new again

My mom's 2001 truck is doing the same thing. Sometimes the ABS and Parking Brake lights will come on (steady, not flashing) for a few minutes, then go off. Then they might just come back on a while later.

When they are on, there are NO CODES being set!?

Also, when they are on, the ABS does not work. When they are off, the ABS works.

The ABS fuse is good. I disconnected/reconnected the battery and it didn't help. The ABS module does not run when the truck is off. The module wiring appears OK and the ground wire on the frame is OK.

Does it still sound like a bad ABS module with these symptoms? Can it be repaired?

I figured mine out finally. I had 305's in the back and 265's in front. I made them all 265's all the way around, and the pulsing and everything went away. Just my brakes squeak like a **** lol
