Default ? about tranny

Not sure what's going but it mainly happens when I'm going up hills. I'll be driving along and when I have to slow down to turn or something, whenever I get back on the gas it feels like the torque converter gets slammed. It's hard to describe. It also happens when just driving around town. Turn a corner, get back on gas, and WHAM it hits kind of hard then takes off. I'm hoping it's not time for a tranny rebuild!!!!!!!!! Any ideas?

Sounds weird but hard to tell. Are you in TC lock up and it's coming out?

HMMM..... not to sure. I'd imagine it's not if I'm just driving around town at about 30mph tops. It seems almost as if I have a stall converter. I can feel it on the 1-2 shift also. There will be a slight lag, then I can feel the converter engage and go.

I'll check that out. Maybe even just take it in to get the tranny filter and new fluid put in. It probably has never been done and I'm at 75K. Bought the truck with 68K so I don't know if it has been done.

A stock tune would cause that?
