Default 96' LS Swap

I have a 1996 OBS Silverado and am planning on doing an LS swap and was wondering if the transmission and torque converter I currently have in the truck will work. It is a one piece bellhousing 4L60e. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

yes it will, you have to enlarge the holes on the flex plate and use a crank spacer

Thanks!
After doing some digging it looks like I will need a flat flywheel, the one I have is curved.

Curved? Like the one on the bottom of my pic. Thats from my stock 4l60e. The top is flat and replaces the curved. 02 Yukon btw.

I thought I read the curved wouldn't work for some reason. What adapter kit did you use?

Yup, like the bottom one.
Since you're doing an ls swap, the TCI I showed would probably work for you without an adapter. Its specifically for 4l60e to ls style motors. Mr. GMC beat into my head to just get rid of the factory crap if you plan to make any power. During a swap is when to do it!

The plan is to get everything running correctly and then turbo it, when the turbo goes on I'm going to switch to a 4L80e.

Ok, I found this. It looks like, seeing as I have a short crank and early trans, I use the adapter plate between the flywheel and converter as seen in note 3.

I might have the adapter you need. I thought I needed it and didn't. I'll give you a great price if you give it a good home.
