I have a 94 4x4 fullsize blazer and the tranny just started acting up but not slipping. it was doing fine, shifting nice and firm, all gears worked fine, then as i was cruising down the highway i noticed it wouldnt go into O/D anymore. I got off the highway and realized it wasnt downshifting either. now its stuck in third and i can manually shift it into second but it wont go into first or O/D. could this be a solenoid issue or maybe a pcm issue? has anyone had this problem before or a similar issue? i would start tearing into it but I just bought it and this happened on the 40 mile drive home. i dont want to start messing with it untill i talk to the seller about it so i figured id see if any tranny gurus on here had any insight. before i bought it i checked the trans fluid it was clean, full and pink. on the test drive it shifted fine, went in and out of all four gears fine, about half way home i stopped for gas and pulling out of the gas station it was still fine. then the previously mentioned symptoms started to occur. any help greatly appreciated.

 

nvm it was the trans fuse dont know why that would blow but its fixed now

 

Might be worth it to pull the pan and see if any of the wiring is pinched and shorted causing the fuse to blow...
