if they are both 4l60e/65e you should run into no problems

well we have a noise! little tick noise when its in reverse. it did it when we started it, it was low on trans fluid and now it just does it in reverse. wondering WTF it could be Im hoping its not the trans pump being pinched or of some type..

when we put the trans in I noticed the dowl wasnt in the motor on the driver side, so i had my buddy put it in when the trans was loose and he could only get it in so far, theres about a 1/4 gap in the hole on the trans side... meaning its in pretty far, just it was the only problem we ran into, and thought we could solve it when the trans was installed hoping that it wouldnt be a problem

could this be a my probelm?.

Gap is bad and likley the noise is a result of it you need to get that fixed ,

theres no gap between the engine and trans all i was trying to explain was that we could only get that dowl (alingment pin) in so far. I was wondering if that was the issue or not

new torque converter, wonder if my buddy didnt pore enough oil in it before he put it in maybe thats what was the issue

we ran in down the road and it shifts great goes through all the gears, it dont make that noise anymore...... weird.....

un hope theres not a issue

thanks 4 your time
