88-98 to 99-up rear disc swap

Default 88-98 to 99-up rear disc swap

Has anyone tried to swap the newer truck rear discs onto the 88-98 rearend? Other than the obvious differences it seems to be pretty straightforward. Are the newer discs even worth messing with? Are there any problems with them on their stock application? If they are junk in stock form then theres no point in going any farther.

I've done it.

EDIT: Except I did it with a OBS 14 bolt, and I saw in your other post you are working with a 2WD 10 bolt.

I will make a separate post since it is probably a different situation.
