Default 80e tcase options and drivelines?

I'm doin an 80e swap and am gonna use a 4x4 tcase from a 3/4 ton that has the manual shift lever so I can lock into mustang killer mode. My question is they did this in 3/4 ton trucks from factory I should be able to get t case and front driveshaft from a yard. Does any one know the specific t case number I'm after so I know what I'm after? Also will the d max shafts work as well. Should I get the rear shaft as well and have it shortened then have one made.

My truck is a Sierra Denali 1/2 ton crew maybe someone knows.

Thanks guys.

I think youo may be looking for an NP1... whats the difference between than and the NP2. Does the NP2 give you an 'AWD' auto 4wd option?

Oh you want floor shift? I assumed you were going for the electronic TC.

I think you'll want to look for something from a 2500 6.0 gas truck that had a 4L80E. The diesel trucks either had the 5 speed Allison automatic or the 6 speed manual ZF6 trans, and I'm not sure if those had the same bolt patterns or output shaft sizes.

Looking at car-part.com I'm seeing NP2 and NVG261 as the model number for the floor shift, but that same model is listed under the 5 speed auto, 6 speed manual, and 4 speed auto trans. Not sure what the differences are.

According to this site the HD trucks have a larger slip yoke, that might be why your source is asking. http://www.justchevytrucks.com/parts...sfercases.html

I'm willing to bet GM kept the output shafts similar and the transfer case adapter will all have the same bolt pattern for the TC's.

Thanks guys, I wonder if there would be benefit to larger shafts of the HD? Smaller shaft in 1350 series be plenty hmm tough one. I just don't wanna get the wrong one and be screwed later lol.
