yeah thats what i thought. just drove her for the first time and it is scary in the rain. now i need to find a new muffler. that flowmaster 40 came off again. its almost like its not enough flow for the 383. but for the time being i will run her with my cats hahahaha i love the way it sounds.

Takes awhile to get used to. Even with my 2500-2700 stall Circle-D, it needs about 2000-2500 RPM to accelerate from a dead stop at a normal rate with traffic. But once you put the hammer down, hold on! I have 3.42's also, so that probably doesn't help.

Once you get used to the extra looseness the truck will actually be easier to drive in slippery conditions. Greater range of control before the engine puts full torque to the wheels.
