Question 80e cooler lines?

got to thinking after the swap. does it matter where the cooler lines connect to the cooler? like should the out line go to the top of the cooler and the return come from the bottom of the cooler, or doesnt it matter? i used the stock 60e lines, one was long enough, and for the other i just spliced in about 9 inches of 3/8 brake line with compression fittings.

I think you go in the bottom and out the top. That is the way it runs through the cooler on the side of the rad.

The hard line you extended to the center section of the trans is the return..
