Default 80e conversion Whats needed

Just checking what all I need for the 80e install. Please let me know if I am missing anything or if I dont need something I have listed thanks in advance.

Flex plate
converter
cover sheild
crankspacer
cross member
trans mount
wiring harnes
shifter cable bracket
lines fittings
dip stick & tube
yoke

shifter cable bracket
shifter cable (maybe... I needed, but changed to 2wd too)
drive shaft sized (assuming you meant that with the yoke)

yeah I got the shifter cable bracket there not detailed enough. (Ill edit that)
Im not sure about the cable either.
I guess the yoke is differentfrom the 60e to the 80e and also need the drive shaft resized but will probably will get a HD drive shaft while im at it.

If your interested,I think yank can build an 80e converter with the ls 3 bolt hole pattern so no crank spacer or flexplate is needed.

Hey Bryan

What does your crossmember look like? If it was like the one in my old truck all you have to do is cut the mount off, flip it around, re-weld it and elongate the hole a bit. I'll look for that picture in a bit.

Also, I don't think you need the actual shifter cable, just the new bracket because the mount holes on the 80E are different IIRC.

I used the bracket that came on my 80e for the shifter cable.
